The Merrick Lions Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization affiliated with Lions International, one of the world's largest volunteer service organizations.

Purple Heart Pups is a fundraiser established by Merrick Lions Club
to help disabled veterans lead successful and independent lives by raising the money needed to provide them with access to service
dogs and other supportive programs.

The freedoms we enjoy today come at a price. That cost has been paid by our veterans, often with traumatic brain injury or loss of limbs or sight. Through the Merrick Lions Club Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization - Purple Heart Pups is dedicated to raising funds to help provide our injured veterans with services they need to help them lead full and productive lives.

Donations will benefit two admirable veteran organizations: America’s VetDogs, which provides trained guide and service dogs for disabled
and visually impaired veterans; and the National Amputation
Foundation, comprised totally of combat and service connected amputees, who mentor and assist amputee soldiers as they
readjust to society.

Veterans have done so much for us and we would like to show our gratitude for their sacrifice.
